This concert will feature Dennis Kim (violin), concertmaster of Pacific Symphony and Sung Chang (piano), OC House Concert artistic director.Cocktails and light hors d’oeuvres will be served starting 4:00 pm and music will start promptly at 4:30 pm.
Dennis Kim is the new concertmaster of Pacific Symphony. A citizen of the world, Kim was born in Korea, raised in Canada and educated in the United States. He has spent more than a decade leading orchestras in the United States, Europe and Asia. Most recently, he was concertmaster of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra in New York.
Sung Chang was born in Seoul, Korea, and began playing the piano at the age of three. At age five, he gave his debut concert and became the youngest winner of the Nagoya International Piano Competition in Japan, where he also received the Chamber Music and Japan Expo special prizes.
